Looking like I'm booking it in next week with garage I used to use. They've said for 28 they can "do a brake inspection - It is full inspection which involves removing the wheels to measuring the discs and pads, cleaning and adjusting as required."

Don't know what the measuring thing is all about? Wear and tear measurement I'm guessing. This was before I told them it was drum and shoe so maybe that won't apply here?!

I can't decide if I should get them to do this and go from there or go down the option of replacing the shoes. But I wouldn't know if shoes and discs are best done together or if just doing the shoes could be enough.
