Had a look at the National........ site - it doesn't even recognise my car correctly.

It quotes oil for a car similar to my Honda as costing 35 or so. I can buy genuine Honda oil , filter and new sump plug washer from my nearest Honda dealer for 25-00.

When buying engine oils there is a massive savings if you buy in bulk and take a minimum order (200 litres or more). Discount for such buys can be 50% or more.

Bog standard mineral oil can be bought for a 1-00 a litre so if a car for instance takes 5 litres and add another 5-00 for a filter the profit would be 30 on a 40 costing. Semi-synthetic oil can be bought for about 1-50.

Don't get bogged down on brands - always check the specs.,
