Hi Root-two - before going down the road of DAB radio I suggest you check out local DAB radio reception - it can be patchy in some areas - it may well be worth checking it out. In my area the DAB website says I should be able to receive 7-10 stations but can only get one. Went to a local hi-fi store (about 800 yards from home) to buy a DAB stereo for the house and they couldn't even demonstrate their models the reception is so poor. Ask around other motorists for their experience. Any after-market car entertainment system will probaly differ from the original and you are most likely to loose the head-up display although adapters can be found for many for connecting the steering column stalk controls.
