I agree that yo should always be careful around trucks, but I'm guilty of undertaking.

It seems all to often that I'm driving down the motorway, only to find some norbert in the middle lane doing 60mph. I used to make a "point" of overtaking, now I just stick in my lane and slide past on the inside.

I know it's illegal, but until the compulsory birching of Middle Lane Morons becomes enshrined in our road traffic laws, it's something I - and a lot of other people - do.

I'll just point out that I "slip" past on the inside too...I don't take the BMW approach and come flying up behind someone at full-bore, main beams and fogs on, then screech into the inside lane...drop a cog and floor it, before cutting back out again!
