I had the sudden flat battery this morning - 1.9Dci Privilege October 2004. Pressed the button and everything went out apart from clicking noise. A nice AA man used a MaxBoost to start and all came good. His diagnostics say battery in good nick, charge is good and, after a nice drive, all seems good. I just hope this isn't the start of something worse!
Car had shown no signs of battery fatigue before. Does anyone know if the software makes sure that enough battery capacity is available for locking/ ECU data etc and so actually prevent a start with low volts? Or am I just paranoid about Renault software
