Did you test the coolant sensor when cold and then when warm - the resistance should change
I haven't got that far yet!
As far as i understand the coolant temperature sensor is located behind the vacuum servo pump, am i correct? Also if I earth out the wiring plug directly to the engine block the temperature gauge should move full scale into the red. Again am I correct in stating this?
