Might be where you go ,its reserve travel that has to be measured,do you actually do Mot work ? what are they actually testing the hand brake for,will tell you its parking brake efficiency,after this point there still has to be a reserve travel,that is why brake shoes or pads are adjusted with the handbrake released,not fitted or adjusted until the handbrake is lose,then the handbrake is adjusted,if its on a rear caliper system it is until the lever arm starts to move, FYI
