No need for a 9K servie set up. 12K is fine.

I run Motul 300V fully synthetic which is a top
, after 16K in the 182 it came out nearly as clean as it went in.
The only thing that you really should do sooner rather than later is the belts, AUX belt and CAM belt as they do havea habbit of breaking up before the interval time.
Hi Jamesy - you are starting to cause confusion - first you say 18K is alright and now you mention 12K. Many mechanics recommend the 9000 change because its half-way to the 18000 service
