Unhappy Oh No.....

This sounds very much like my problem but i hope its not.I bought my car in August, guy told me about the engine management light coming on but not affecting performance,he said Renault said it was a wiring problem. It would come on around 60mph and then go off again. The longer i have had the car the more frequent the problem has become so i took the car to a local mechanic who looked around the car as well as firing his laptop into the car which brought up a few problems. One of the main error codes was reporting a relay problem or open circuit so one by one he cleared up any problems with the car eg. rear brake discs, ball joint and cleaned the egr valve which had been fixed by the previous owner. Now this cost me 300.He then replaced the 4 glow plugs which were all away which cost me 60.He also replaced the air mass meter because the car was sluggsih at a cost of 100(A job which had been done 8 months before by the previous at a cost of 360).The relay error still kept on coming up without the car being started so i left the car with him for 10 days while i went on holiday. When i came back he told me had traced the problem to a corroded terminal and now when connected to a laptop no problems were coming up.I was delighted to hear the car was finally fixed until the next day when the light came on at 40mph for a millisecond before disappearing. It was fine around town before i took it on a 50 mile run.I would get to 60 in 4th and it was fine as soon as i hit 5th the light comes straight on if i slow down to around 58 the light goes off and this is now the regular pattern. Its a pain when your taking over guys on the motorway at 70mph for them to overtake me again as i am slowing down to the 58 mark. The one difference this time is before when the light came on the turbo would not function most of the time, now the management light comes on but doesnt affect the turbo .Its going back in on Monday to get tested but my patience is wearing thinner by the day.The mechanic reckoned the light was coming on because the glow plugs were not burning off excessive fuel or something. The guy is a good mechanic plenty of experience and a diesel specialist but i am losing confidence.
