Disconnecting the MAF seems to solve this - which seems to be a cold weather problem - but fitting a new valve doesn't always do it. Maybe the ECU has a hole in its plan around 2k that renault won't update because its an old model.... Though if I floor the throttle it goes, but on a soft throttle it jerks around 2k.. could it be the throttle potentiometer?
