Hi Ottoman, thankyou for your reply, the long story, but I will keep it as brief as I can, is that I am a driving instructor, and each time I get a problem with my car the stock answer is 'it is a driving school car!' they then go on to explain that my car is abused and that they are unable to entertain warranty claims. So much as I love the Renault Clios I have never received anything like satisfactory service from my Renault dealer which is why i do my own servicing.
Incidently, I have another problem, my high level brake light has stopped working, it must be a Renault thing because my sons car a 2005 Scenic has the same fault, any ideas?
