Only (hah!) spent £250 (including VAT
) so far despite not having had the car that long:
- £120 for a cam-belt change. Car still had its original at 62k when I bought it, but after reading numerous posts on here I figured it safer to dump the cash and have it replaced.
- £50 to have my power steering flushed out 'cos I'm an idiot
- Assorted other bits and pieces to address niggly things (handbrake adjustment etc.)
Oh, and I splashed the princely sum of £3 on a blind-spot mirror - best three quid I've spent in a long, long time.
Next up is a set of front fogs, ideally before the years end - fortunately the car is taxed 'til March and the MOT isn't due until May, by which time I might have had a pay rise
