The latest is that the
pressure is 15psi at idle and about 50 at 3-4000, which according to my Haynes is right on spec. Phew! So I feel I can drive the thing safely at least.
Now I just need to work out what's really causing the warning lights to come on! I've tried wiggling the wiring about to see if I can make it flash, and couldn't.
I note there's an
level sensor ... in the sump? What's that for? Anyhow, does anyone know if that's also wired to the warning light? That's now my prime suspect...
