Aha! I do get the row of 'o's but hadn't realised that was oil level. The oil level is OK though so I don't see how it could be that, unless the switch is faulty. Or could the oil in the sump be sloshing back and forth when I accelerate? It might be my imagination but the light might come on easier/earlier when accelerating AND turning right at the same time. I thought that suugested a wiring fault, but I guess it could be oil slohing about.

What's this 'toxic fume' thing? What country are you in?! I'm in the UK, and our models have a 'Stop' light as well as the ' Oil ' light - could that be what you mean? Yes Stop does also flicker.

It's an obvious idea to check the ECU codes so I hope my workshop has already done that, but I'll check!
