You will never use the bending tool ,an 1/2 inch extension as it comes from the part where your ratchet fits in to the straight length is more than enough to bend it slowly ,make sure you bend it slowly as you dont want any kinks, that kit is something like 15 too much ,get a cheaper one they are all the same, that just says sealey on the box, if you are going to make your own, practise quite a few times before you fit to your car ,,flair one end up only ,connect to the front or rear connection, you want the area under the car with the most room for you to work,to be the last part to connect to(you will understand this as you do one),then thread the rest of the pipe through to where it needs to go,brake pipe on a roll comes with pieces of rubber over the end,put this back over the exposed end you are threading through to stop the ingress of dirt going inside the pipe, then when you are happy that the length is ok cut the excess pipe off and flair the other end underneath the car and fit .You can also just send the pipe through to where it goes ,flair where there is enough room and gently pull it back to where it connects, if you decide to flair the pipe up on the bench, then you will need something to stop the brake pipe connector vanishing along the pipe as you thread it ,for this screw a female /male end on and then the connector can not travel along the pipe, god luck.
