I'm sorry to say if its anything like the mk1 scenic then its a utter pig of a job.

(mk1 had the brake servo and master cylinder mounted behind the pedals on a removable plate (from inside, requiring the removal of steering column and pretty much the entire dashboard, the wiring loom refit was fun, expect the air vent foam padding to fall to bits and leak hot air all over the back of the dashboard after refitting.)
the engine needed to be tilted forward to get access to the master cylinder behind a heat sheild on the back of the engine bay.

the wipers and scuttle panel must come out to get access to the bottom of the scuttle panel which is removable, allowing access to the top of the engine, air intakes and ducting must be removed(and firmly replaced as its all pressurised fat pipework on the induction system.

book time was 8 hours for the mk1, should be about the same for the mk2, but they crammed it into a much smaller space.

(i'd check with a number of independent garages for quotes first.)

definitely have a haynes manual at hand, and if you can get the renault service manual pdf's it will help a lot. if your going to try yourself.
a warm garage is a must as trying this in the rain and sleet/snow is a no-go.
