So I've had the rear window replaced, I used Car Hood Warehouse in Surrey (Car Hood, Car Hoods, Soft Top Supplier, Soft Tops, Cabriolet Hoods, Replacement Hoods, UK, South East, London). It was 220 inc VAT, a lot of money but hopefully it will last a few years. It's amazing to be able to look in the mirror and see what's behind me, I've got so used to using the wing mirrors. I'll report back on how the window is faring in a few months.

Their top tips for looking after a rear plastic window are:
1. Don't park the car with the rear window in full sun (if you can help it)
2. Don't put the roof up and down if it's cold (not sure how cold is cold)
3. Don't park near Elland Road (OK I made that one up)

Don't take to the car wash
Don't use a power hose
Don't put the dog in the back seat
If applying any treatment make sure it has a UV inhibitor
