hi, you can get it switched off its a simple plug in to labtop job that can be done, i had mine done at a renault main dealer, it drove me frikin crazy so did the dash, carnt help you in bristol but try going to your main dealer in a bad temper, tell them your mrs was on the motorway and it told her it a flat so she pulled on to the hard shoulder and was nealy in a accident and there was no flat and you want it switching off as its danderous, do this with an attitude, they are more than aware of this problem, sounds crazy but worth a go!! i slod mine for this and other reasons and necer looked back!
