Hi Cath - try the sequence below - it may work
Go to the car and put your key in the ignition. Turn it so the immobiliser light flashes rapidly. Press the central locking button on the dash next to the hazard button, hold it to the left. Keep an eye on the flashing light. When you press and hold the central locker, the light will slow down. BEFORE YOU EVEN PRESS THE CL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CODE IN FRONT OF YOU, TIMING IS VITAL.
Now, once you press and hold the CL count the flashes in sequence to your first digit. For example if your first digit is 5, then count 5 flashes and then release the CL button. Immediately press the CL in again and count the flashes for your next digit. Repeat for 3 and 4.Make sure you count exactly otherwise you will have to start all over again. When you have completed all 4 digits, the immobiliser light will remain constant.
Now you can start your car!!!!!!
You will have to do this sequence every time you turn the car off, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than taking your car into a dealer and paying out hundreds of pounds. Plus the fact nobody can steal it because they don't know your code!!
