Renault Clio - 1.5 dCi Oil Leak*Fixed*

I thought id share this with you guys...

I have a 2002 clio 1.5 DCI and it had a slight oil leak, when the car was parked up it leaked quite alot of oil , so I initally thought a leaking sump or similar.

Anyway, I traced it down to the turbo oil feed pipe and it was leaking at the cylinder head end. There is a small O ring inside the pipe, which can perish and this causes the oil to leak out of the union. The oil then falls onto the starter motor and it gathers there until you park on a slight incline.

So if you have a oil leak which you can't identify check the oil feed pipe to the turbo .

The replacement O ring kit was 6.00 from Renault which is much cheaper than filling with oil every so many miles!

hope this helps anyone with a simialr problem

cheers lee
