Fords C-Max Ghia has an electronic handbrake and it performs handbrake turns and powerslides excellently! But your right about the fact it must be fully engaged b4 release. It delays pulling off quickly after a handbraker by about 2 or 3 seconds, which meant my 2.0 tdci was beaten round Tescos car park by a 1.2 clio! My mates have never let it go! Stick to the manual handbrake any day!
