Hot! Hot! Hot!
I've recently acquired a 1.9 dCi Lag II sport tourer ........
I've also noticed that there's a whopping big fuse in the engine bay panel that's overheated - not blown - and so much it's crystallized the plastic casing.
I can't tell what the fuse is for 'cos I don't have a diagram / list and I'm a bit worried about something heating it that much!
This is just what I found on my Lag I when I put a fuse in a spare slot in the engine bay.
The slot was colour coded white and was in the middle or the strip.
This, I have found, is for the heated front screen which has a problem and was obviously removed by a previous owner because it was constantly live and drained the battery if it did not blow.
It might be worthwhile you removing the fuse (for safety).
