my megane has similar problem
My Mark 1 megane has a anoying intermittant fault.
engine cutting out when slowing down. Engine dying when driving at constant speed. I thought I had cured it by changing the
to inlet manifold pipe. I road tested it for 20 odd miles with no probs. On my way to work this morning it started playing up again, although the fault now is not so severe. The fault seems to settle down when car is nice and warm ie 10 miles and over, but it still occurs occansionly. Has anyone out there had a faulty
? I got a price from renault today they want £177 + VAT I think they are taking the p***.
Appreciate any ideas cheers Marty.
my megan had similar problem was sent into renault birmingham and was charged £190 just to change a sensor
that cost 68p. Problem was solved for about 1 week now it jolts, sometimes slightly other times quite severely and thats when it cuts out. Have had it various garages but no one can find a solution.
Currently in kimmy 1234's garage:
