Re: Can a second hand car have too few miles?!
I'm constantly amazed at how large wheels have become.
When I was a child, a mini had 10" wheels, an Escort had 12" or 13" (like a Cortina), a Granada rolled on 14"s and a big-car (xj6) - had 15"s...
Nowadays 15"s are the starting point and they are often considered as castors.
The way things are heading, it's the smaller-diameter wheels, that have the restricted choice of tyre.
In them days it was rare for a car to come with alloys, generally only high spec stuff did and you added your own.Generally wolfrace,or minis would be mininlite or revolutions but even the Mini ended up going to 12's and at the end of it life 13's.
I didn't get the Mini thing, unreliable and no reclinable seats
