Whilst I appriciate that tax is the main problem with petrol prices the
companies are also jumping on the band wagon.
I while ago I remember a campaign, or the start up of one, trying to get motorists to avoid filling up at a certain company of petrol stations for a month. This would force them as a company to reduce prices to get customers back, therefore dropping prices.
The bottom line is there are still millions of drivers who just pull into any old petrol station to fill up without choosing the cheapest one, I guess thats the joys of owning company vehicles!
