It is possible to change the xenon bulbs without taking the bumper off, you can get to the back of the headlamps, I found it easier when the battery and the washer bottle neck had been removed, just unplug all the connectors first then the bulb comes straight out, then fit and secure the bulb in the lamp before connecting everything up. My younger brother was useful as his hands are smaller than mine.
Where did you get the bulbs from and how much, got mine from a motor factor for 38 quid.
Thanks for the heads up on getting the bulbs in, like I said I got it booked into Renault, so will ask what they did when I get it back... luckily Ive got the radio code incase they disconnect the battery.
I got the bulbs from Hids4u.co.uk for £70 for a pair of D2R 6000K (brighter than the standard bulbs) Xenon bulbs.
