The more I think about it, I agree, it is certainly a hydraulic problem as you say and thanks for the clue about fluid not returning in the system, again,I thinks that's spot on so now it's just a question of examining the brake pipework and tracing it back to the master cylinder to see, if as you say, there might be a valve in line which is perhaps siezed/blocked-up/frozen. Thanks for the lead. Finally, is there any way the brake servo could be responsible?
