I would suggest to all who have done similar to check the conditions of your insurance as the sensor is regarded as a safety device and disabling or removing it may have an effect on any claim resulting from a tyre related accident. It might be a costly experience if you had a claim refused, so £97 may be small change in comparisson.
I am surprised no one has commented on this insurance issue!!! What do the moderators think? Is it not sensible to check ALL safety devices are functional?
