Like your reasoning, but you can never get 100% braking
I would disagree there to some extent its all to do with keeping the system in good order and what parts you use in the first place IMO..you will know how good some pads are against others being in the trade and no doubt you have your favourites..same with the disc..some are made of Cr*p materials and tend to warp far quicker than others..I had a set
warp at 4K miles on a brand new car..dealer replaced them but I asked them to use my choice of brake pad which they agreed to do..
