Renault Clio 3 - Paintwork Fault

I've stumbled upon this forum while trying to google information regarding my Renault Paint Warrenty. As I have an issue with the paint on my one year old from new Clio which I'm hoping somebody on here may be able to help with.

Basically I noticed recently that the paint on the roof looks as if it has blistered and the grey primer/undercoat is visible underneath. I've taken it to Renault who have told me that something has obviously been split on it (break fluid was he's guess). A bit annoyed as i can't think how it would get there, they're word is that it's me who will be paying for it. The attached image isn't great (can upload better if needed), but if somebody could tell me what they think - whether Renault are fobbing me off or it is corrosive damage?

Also, if it turns out to be me paying for it I have the (mostly) glass roof - how will this affect the respray - surely there isn't as much that needs painting? or is that wishfull thinking and it'll be a more complex job?

Any feedback would be great!
Have a good Christmas.
