Excellent, you'll be fully trained in no time
Leave the shocks alone unless leaking or falling apart.
If the rust really offends, give them a coat of hammerite.
Similar with discs (but don't paint them)
When time to change pads comes along, check disc thickness and if needs be, replace them.
Otherwise you are spending money and time with little need.
