Keep an open mind on it.
Easy to get fixated on one item and IMO, error messages on the dash can be misleading in these situations.
I had a dead battery last week, dash was telling me to put in neutral.... even though it was and if not (actual sensor failure) it wouldn't have even tried to crank over.
Could be something like crank or
sensor (not sure which you have or if both)
Could be fuel feed issue... check the primer is pumping up till hard.
Could be earth or power feed issue to
, the latter check fuses on battery positive post.
Could be simply a little low on battery, the
is a little voltage sensitive and low voltage can prevent starting even if starter cranking over happily.
If it is cranking over, should not be immobiliser or sensor issue (like brake, clutch and neutral) that would prevent it cranking. Nor starter issue.
