OP....On your battery positive terminal should be a red box
Looks like this inside
The three bars are fuses... check (multimeter on ohms) and clean. Disconect from battery before checking.

Anyone got a picture of the Lags primer bulb location?
It stops it over charging and spiking the ecu , it also stops it damaging the alternator as the alternator will try and go into overdrive to charge the flat battery,
Thats why the battery always needs to be fully charged before fitting a replacement alternator
