OZ... I have not had problems either but the better quality aftermarket pads did make a difference to mine. I am not slow and after having the car chipped it is now even more of a shock to some of the dull silver vauxhall and Ford rep cars which it can hunt down now. But heat is what kills all brakes and better discs and pads make a big difference. I import brake components for motorcycles and have first hand experience of this. The one thing not mentioned is changing the flexable hoses for Goodridge lines as this can make a big difference on a car or bike which is 3 years old if the OEM Lines are not braided and start to soften and swell under load.
