Surely if they stick a Lotus badge on it then that should do the trick

I have to admit, it's been a long time since I chucked a Vauxhall around. The last time I recall was pitching a loaned SRi around the M6 Northbound to M62 Eastbound 270 degree loop at the kind of speed I'd normally do in my Laguna and ending up with brown trousers.

I'd credited them with making some improvements in the decade or so that followed. I take it that's being overly optimistic.
I had a reliable Italian car started first time,everytime......but it had the decency to rust away in pieces....
Hmm... no serious mechanical breakdowns in the 35 miles or so that you stuck on the clock. I've got to admit that's pretty impressive for a Fiat
