Re: Laguna in 1.9 Dci

As mentioned by mord make sure to check the drains under the scuttle (wiper) panel as these clog up and the water gets into the heater blower and into the car.

If the car has a sunroof the curtain wire down the drains will make sure they are clear.

Make sure to thoroughly dry out the carpets, you may have to remove the seats and some interior trim to do this properly.
Make sure to check any electrical connections you find down there, give them a squirt of WD40 to prevent corrosion.

Pay attention to the fuse box on the drivers side and make sure it is dry. There is also a hidden fuse box on the passenger side check this.

If the water has come in through the heater blower you may have to remove this and dry out the fan as it will burn out or seize if left.

Most of the subjects to do with water ingress have been covered on the forum so there's lots of reading and advice.
