Fuse for gauges, heater etc. keeps blowing.

Hi all,

My 2003 Scenic Dynamique+ 1.9DCI is going through phases of blowing a fuse. Every so often on starting the car this 15amp fuse blows and I have no gauges, climate control, stop lights etc. Initially it took me ages to locate the correct fuse, but now it's easily changed and everything is then fine for a while (days, weeks or even months). It's very frustrating. As an electrician it seems to me to be the initial surge of switch-on. Anyone had this problem and/or has any ideas. Thanks. Swampy
