Hi Eggsy - as you say it could hev been a low battery - if you car has internal sensors - they are volumetric (measured changes in air pressure) - could be caused by the spider or a sudden drop in temperature if they are over sensitive. I have heard of people taping over them in an emergency - although this may affect your insurance
