Hi. Are you sure the noise is coming from the front? I have a similar noise, but from the rear (passenger side)... think the shoes are worn.

Having said that, from what you describe, it sounds a bit like your calipers might be stuck (inner pads are not moving freely)... check the guides, clean and lube them).

For the clutch, make sure you got no fluid leaking anywhere. Assuming yours is the 1997> Espace, I don't think you can top these up unless the master cylinder etc have already been replaced (the factory units were sealed I think).

If it has previously been replaced, it shouldn't really be leaking so check for leaks near the pedals. To top up, you need to remove that piece of dash on the right of the steering wheel (top) if I remember correctly. Can't remember if you need to remove the steering surround or not though, but otherwise I think it just pulls off.

EDIT: Just seen your's is the 2002 Espace... scrap the clutch advice
