2 cards is quite normal. If you ever get problems you just need to take the car and both cards to the dealer for programming. I think you can have a max of 4 cards assigned to your vehicle.
Apart from the obvious things you shouldn't have too much to look out for on a car that new. Excessive Rear tyre wear can be an issue if 17" alloys are fitted with Continental tyres, other makes don't seem as bad and smaller wheels don't seem to be affected at all.
Many ( not on this forum) will tell you to avoid Renault like the plague, whilst not perfect, their dealers and cars are no worse than many of the so called good cars (VW,Mercedes etc). We have owned 3 Renaults, 2 Meganes ( older shape) and now a Laguna, despite horror stories and people trying to put me off, the Laguna has been trouble free for the 11mths we have owned it and (according to our dealer) has not had any warranty work carried out on it at all - according to Ren UK database).
