Many Peugeots do need a header tank to "pressurise" the high points (heater) when refilling.
2 ltr Coke bottle with the bottom cut out worked for me when I had a couple.
Renaults shouldn't need it but do need bleeding... I think on yours it is a single bleed point on the thermostat housing... dinna worry on that unless you find that the heater isn't working (getting hot)
