oops, I was hoping nobody would suggest that as there's loads of bushes last time I looked under the Clio. How would I go about locating the culprit bush?
I had a MK1 Golf which had the dashboard made of various materials (hard & soft) and it was glued, stapled and riveted together in various places. I got some wicked vibrations off if especially above 90 - although it was only a 1.1 so 90 was a rare treat when going downhill - when it hit 91 the whole car shook and I always chickened out.
Oh, with reference to the earlier post, is there a better way of checking front bearings apart from seeing how much play is in the wheel & the cornering noise test?
