Hi there.

Due to the length of time the car was idle, we can discount the turbo , plus since the car was in gear - then it couldn't be mechanical (the car would've moved). I'm inclned to think of an electrical short.

It could be engine related (i.e. cooling fan), or non-engine related (i.e. wiper motor).

Sorry if that sounds ambiguous, but its impossible to be more certain than that.

I'm sure the investigation will determine the source.
