Laguna II, Cant get dash lights to turn off.
Well here we go again
, Got a 02 Laguna II 1.9dci Privilege. Parked the car on the drive last night pressed the button to stop the car but it kept on running and the service light came on, After a couple of minutes of trying to stop the engine I put it in to gear and stalled it. When I took the card out of the reader all the dash and climate controle lights were still on. I put the card back in the reader and try'd to start the car again but no joy. With the card out of the reader all the dash is still live, the radio is on, the wipers the indicators and the climate still work and the start sign stay's lit up. The other thing is the immobiliser light, with the card out the light flashes, with the card in it stays on constant. I have disconected the battery over night to see if it would reset but when I connected it this morning everything was still the same It seems like there is an open relay or contact. Has Any one came across this before, I'v searched the forum and there are loads of card reader and immobiliser links but nobody has mention'd the dash still being live with the card out. Hope some one's got the answer to this as its doing my head in. I love the car but I dont fancy paying the stealer any more money (it's cost a fourtune over the 2 years that I have own'd it)
