A lot of our cars listed as the " worst " seem to have being at the end of the cars life cycle obviously they had numerous owners before we got our hands on them and when the dreaded rust was a major problem on most cars of the era.
We have come a long way in cars over the last few decades, Cars that we once aspired to a few years ago we would not thank you for today . Our perception of what was a good car has changed as has our motoring needs, consider how the annual mileage has grown and how most engines are good for at least 100,000 miles and how little servicing there is in cars of today.
I have driven some cracking cars in the past, i'm not sure I would really like to revisit them today as i prefer to have the memory of a great car than driving one now with todays perspective and destroying my past happy motoring moments
