Thanks for that info. However, now that I must have it replaced, are there any particular pitfalls to be avoided. I know the windscreen is athermic but anything else to watch out for with the replacement? Would it be best to fit a genuine Renault 'screen (from a dealership) or are the specialist replacement firms 'screens just as good?
