Under the drivers seat, pull the carpet up and there is a black plastic cover. Open this and on the right hand side towards the drivers door there is a black box (held in with a torx screw iirc) with several plugs small plugs and one large plug going into it. Pull them all out and the alarm should quietly die. But the car will run fine. (Alarm is an aftermarket fit by dealer)

I had to do this to my 1998 Executive BUT I would add that I was never aware of the immobiliser ever having worked, just the alarm.

so (Disclaimer) At your own risk !
