Hi Tazzy i have fitted a aftermarket digital rev counter to my 2.0 16v but i had problems from the start as the rev counter i bought was for a 4,5,6 cylinder car fitted with a single coil or distributor but this is where it went pair shaped for me as i have 4 single coils so i was only getting half a reading but yours is diesel so to be honest i would not have a clue, the rev counter i bought was a Racex digital counter and was available in green led only with a red led light to indicate that you are in the red but they did have others,i hope this helps a little all the best Donald.
Currently in Donald's garage:
2005 Mercedes Benz C200 Classic SE Kompresser & 1998 Fiat Cinquecento Fire Sporting, some may say i could do far better?,i say i could do far worse.
