I remeber them!
Does this rekindle those wonderful memories...?
I remember us having a Strada as a hire car in Spain in the late 70s/early 80s. It was known as the 'Ritmo' over there. Don't ask me why.
French electrics on a French car is bad but Italian electrics on an Italian car is the worst.
How about French cars with Italian electrics? Guess who makes the notoriously sensitive 'oh I think I'll go permanently onto kilometers because you disconnected the battery' instrument cluster for the Lag II?
The answer being Marelli. An Italian company, and indeed a subsidiary of Fiat
Which makes you wonder how much of the French's reputation for crap electrics comes from them buying in dodgy kit from the Italians
