this is the message i got from a friend of mine who i have told to join this forum and yes another referral lol anyway here go's
Good evening can you help me please.
I have been reading your comments regarding these models and was wondering if you could shed any light,
My wife owns a megane coupe 2.0 auto.R 1998
Last week the batteries were replaced on the blip but the syncro was lost - cannot re-syncro the key as the internal central locking switch does not work, we have today had this replaced but it still does not work, i am now being told that we will need to replace either the
or the injection computer as one of these units is failing and not communicating with the internal central locking switch Renault want £460 or £ 650.00 respectively to replace the faulty part.
Is there a way around this ?
We have a spare key which will not last long as the batteries are not new, once this runs out we will have an operative car!!!!!
your views would be greatly appreciated.
could anyone who has info post it here and i shall pass it on thanks
